My song “Jun Bay” is featured in the film “Dead Man Down” starring Colin Farrell, Terrence Howard, Noomi Rapace and Dominic Cooper. After being in movie theaters in the spring, it’s now out on DVD and Blu-Ray. The title of the song is Cantonese for “Get Ready”.
My wife, Larissa Lam, is almost about to pop out our Lil’ Won. We decided to have some music medley fun while waiting for baby. See if you recognize some of these classic tunes.
For those of you liked “I Wanna Be an Engineer,” here’s more geeky goodness. I asked my favorite singer, Larissa Lam, to give props to all us trusty engineers. You know it’s the engineers that can solve the problems of the world. Enjoy this new video that’s got my twist on Far East Movement’s song “Rocketeer.” I also wanted to give it up for female engineers!
After 2 weeks of hard fought battles, 2 Dim Sum dishes have emerged for 1 final battle. Don Tat (Egg Custard Tart) decisively took down Char Siu Bao in their Semi-Final. In a stunning turn of events, one-time leader Har Gow was defeated by the comeback kid, Chicken Feet. Now it’s time to decide once and for all Which Dim Sum Will Reign Supreme? It will be an epic battle between CHICKEN FEET and DON TAT. Vote now for your choice to be crowned winner of DIM SUM WARS. (voting closes 2/20/13 11:59 PM)
Here’s Semi-Final #2 and it’s a good matchup. Char Siu Bao knocked out Char Siu So with a whopping 77% of the vote in the previous round and Egg Custard Tart came out on top with 60% of vote over Sesame Ball.

WINNER OF SEMI-FINAL #2 is DON TAT (80% of vote)
Thanks to all who’ve voted so far. Here’s how the preliminary battles shook out: With 62% of the vote Har Gow defeated Siu Mai; Char Siu Bao knocked out Char Siu So with a whopping 77% of the vote; In a really close race, 56% of the vote was enough for Chicken Feet to take down Turnip Cake; Egg Custard Tart came out on top with 60% of vote over Sesame Ball.
So now we move on 1st of two Semi-Finals. Which will move on to the Finals? May the best Dim Sum win. Vote for your favorite below. Voting will close Fri 2/15.
